Record sales of Season Tickets at Old Trafford. Massive demand for seats to see United. The non-renewers (all 27 of them) have had no effect on how United fans view Glaser. Everything is fine at Old Trafford.

I'm no genealogist, but I'm almost 100% certain that if you trace the family tree of Joseph Goebbels, Adolf Hitlers Minister of Propaganda, from WWII to now, somewhere, sometime it will have crossed the family line of Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf, more commonly known as 'Comical Ali', the infamous Information Officer of Sadaam Hussein. And where that line crossed, the result, I am certain has produced the person responsible for the press statements regarding United's ticket sales.

They can't GIVE the bloody things away. Non-renewers have been sent letters, emails and even received phone calls offering them ST's & LMTB's. The T.O. have even offered to extend the deadline for renewal. When have they EVER done that in the past? In previous seasons, if you were ONE day later renewing, fuck you, ticket gone. Now, you can have weeks, even months extra to get your renewal in.

And if the demand is SO great, why have the T.O. REDUCED the eligibility pre-requisites of the LMTB's? If you have applied for 6 games over the past 2 seasons, you now qualify for a LMTB. One R.I. forumner received a phone call from the T.O., ostensibly to confirm his membership details, was then offered an LMTB. He had applied for just THREE games last season. LMTB's in the Family Stand are now available to fans who have had their membership since, wait for it ...... the 2004-2005 season! No other pre-requisite than that. If they carry on this way, anyone wandering down SMB Way, who can name the manager and two current players will qualify for an LMTB.

Unprecedented demand? Record sales? What a load of old bollocks from the ginger Yank and his collection of cronies, lickspittles and underlings.
